21-02 Alumbaugh, Ford John Ford, my gggrandfather, gave consent for his son James Ford to marry Josie Alumbaugh on Aug. 1904 Lexington,MO. James, b. 09 Feb 1884 D.22 Dec 1944 Wellington, Mo. This is the only record we have on him, no living relative has any information on him either. I would appreciate any help Thank you. Sue 06/21/21
21-01 Becker, Bruns, Dittmer, Hinck Three, possibly four, siblings left Germany in the mid 1800's and settled in or around Concordia MO.
  • Anna Dittmer married Johann Bruns;
  • Gesche Dittmer married Henry Becker;
  • Claus Dittmer married Rebecka Hinck
And, there is a great chance both brother Johann Friedrich and their mother, Anna Bohlng Dittmer also became residents in the area. (I have many years of research on the Dittmer family and finding the 3 siblings in Missouri has come as a complete surprise!)

I have been reaching out to their descendents on both Ancestry.com and MyHeritage.com with DNA matches. I would love to share my Dittmer research and learn more about this group and their descendents.		 Jeannette 04/20/21
